Motorola ZN5-It's A Sharp Shooter

Motorola ZN5 is powered by Linux and has lots of features. In this review, we check out the Motorola ZN5 and see whether it stands up to the heavyweights like Nokia N82, Nokia N95 8GB, etc.

Design and Build Quality:

The Motorola ZN5 sports a simple candybar form factor and a clean design. At a weight of just 114 grams, it is very portable and compact. ZN5 is mostly made of brushed metal and plastic. The half rubberized body provides a good grip which makes the handset durable. The build quality has no complaints.

Display and User Interface:

The display quality is exceptionally good with superb brightness and contrast. Despite of being a fingerprint magnet, the user interface is very easy to use and intuitive.
Camera:

The 5 megapixel camera stands best. The image quality is amazing and it has accurate colour reproduction.
Multimedia:

The Motorola ZN5 has quite decent multimedia capabilities. The ZN5 also sports a FM radio with nice reception quality. It also has Bluetooth with A2DP which allows you to hear your music wirelessly.

Pros:
Superb 5 megapixel camera with Xenon flash.
Cons:
No 3G, GPS

Final Words:

The Motorola ZN5 is a very nice phone. It is fast, durable and sturdy and definitely a good buy.

Motorola's ROKR E8

Screen:

This squarer shape screen makes an excellent video and camera viewfinder. The E8's glass top must have an anti-reflective coating because the screen is almost as bright in direct sunlight as it is in room light.
Sound:

The E8's speakerphone also provided plenty of clean volume. Ringtone volume and vibrate buzz were not as loud or as violent as some phones. Sound quality at both ends of calls was better through the phone than through the included earphones.

Camera:

You do get digital 2x, 4x and 8x zoom with the inbuilt 2 megapixel camera, but there is no other picture optimization such as night mode, brightness or white balance, or editing option.

Browse:

The E8 is an EDGE phone, mobile Web and WAP Web pages take 5 to 20 seconds or so to load, depending on the graphic content. The squat screen, while appropriate for camera and video functions, shows too little of each Web page.
Customize:

You can change the home screen wallpaper, alarm or alert, and change the four navigation options. The E8 isn't really about personalization.

Wrap-up:

The E8 is an attractive and highly-functional phone. It's half-touchscreen and half-dialpad.

Motorola AURA-The Fashionable Mobile Phone

The Motorola AURA is a very finely crafted luxury handset; chemically etched contour lines and the unique circular discircular display lend it something of an art deco feel. Overall, the Motorola Aura ticks all of the design boxes. It’s sleek, timeless and is the perfect phone to show off with.

Look and feel:-

The Motorola AURA is a beautifully designed mobile phone which comes with a unique and rather eye catching designed casing. The phone has a circular screen and a smooth opening mechanism. The MOTOAURA is one unique phone.
Ease of use:-

The hardware of the phone is all very easy to get to use and, as features are limited, usability is definitely not too taxing.
Features:-

The Aura follows the luxury phone rule of being big on design but light on features. This handset supports Crystal Talk technology which allows the user to enjoy a clear sound experience. With EDGE download speeds, this phone is only really adequate for quick internet surfing.
Battery Life:-

Battery life is excellent, mainly due to there being no features to run it down.
Pros:

Hi-grade build.
Razor sharp display.
Cons:

Lack of 3G.
Limited memory and overpriced.

The Motorola AURA will certainly stand out in a crowd with its unique looking design, it's a truly fashionable mobile phone.

Motorola Q 9h

mo

Design:

The Q 9h's front is occupied by a silver four-way directional pad. A QWERTY keyboard doubles as the number pad when making calls. The backside of the phone is bare, other than a inconspicuous loudspeaker, camera and Vodafone logo. Up, down, select and back buttons sit on the right-hand side of the unit and a microSD slot on the left-hand side.

Features:

The Q 9h is a quad-band GSM phone as well as a 3G handset with support for HSDPA (3.5G). Our review model came with a Vodafone SIM card and browsing the Internet was speedy using the bundled Opera browser.

Bluetooth, microSD, and USB 2.0 are supported but sadly Wi-Fi is not. The onboard 2-megapixel camera had pretty average results, especially indoors or in low light conditions. The Q 9h is catering to a business audience it is understandably omitted.

The Good:

The Motorola Q9h is a great messaging device with a spacious QWERTY keyboard, and also offers decent call quality and multimedia performance. The smartphone features HSDPA support, Bluetooth, GPS, world roaming, and a 2-megapixel camera.

mo

The Bad:

The Q9h can be sluggish, and its battery life drains quickly. Some users may not like the lack of a scroll wheel.

Bottomline:

While many vendors are adopting touch-based technologies, Motorola has chosen to stick with a button-interface for the Q 9h.
