Motorola to Launch XT301, iDen 886 & XT810 in India

Motorola Inc. an American based telecom company has launched its three fresh arrivals namely Motorola XT 301, Motorola iDen 886 and Motorola XT810. All these new arrivals have elegant designs and will soon hit the Indian Market. These handsets are especially designed for the young generation which will help them in fast communication and social networking.



The Motorola XT301 is an Android powered 3G Smartphone based on the Operating System of 2.1 version. The stunning phone is available in single Black color. The handset is expected to come with a sticker price of Rs 8000. The phone is equipped with 3.15 megapixel camera of resolution 2048 X 1536 pixels with Geo-Tagging, LED Flash light. The Motorola XT301 has 3.0 inch touchscreen having a resolution of 320 X 240 pixels and also has TFT, 256K color combination which offers fine quality display. It is a very light phone having 110g weight. The phone has inbuilt storage capacity of 150 MB with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM which can be expandable upto 32GB with micro SD card slot. The Motorola XT301 is inbuilt with 1170mAh Li-ion battery that delivers talktime of 7 hours and 40 minutes and standby time of 240 hours. The handset also has in-built MP3 Player with 3.5mm audio jack.



Now talking about Motorola iDen 886, it is an Android phone having two keyboards. The phone is a slider phone with QWERTY keypad which helps in quick and comfortable typing. The price of the phone is not officially declared but it will soon hit the Indian market. The phone has QVGA display of 2.2 inch having resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The phone weighs only 141 gram. The stunning phone is equipped with 2.0 megapixel camera having 1200 X 1600 of resolution. The phone is inbuilt with 1380mAh Li-ion battery that delivers a talk time of 4hrs. The phone has sufficient storage capacity which can be extended upto 32GB with micro SD card
slot.

Further Motorola XT810 is also an Android based phone works on v2.0 OS. The phone is available in grey color and expected to come at price tag of Rs. 20,750. The phone is equipped with two cameras, one of 5.0 Megapixel and another is VGA camera. These phones will definitely increase the budget of Motorola this year as they are equipped with advance technologies and new features.

Motorola XT800 Andro mobile with 5 MP camera for India

As a part of the new mobile phone launches in Indian market this year, Motorola India is expected to launch Dual SIM/Dual Band Motorola XT800, mostly in the first quarter of the year itself. Among the two Sims supported by the phone, one will be GSM and other will be CDMA. So the choice of telecom service provider will be of the user completely. The Motorola XT800 has been launched in China and Korea previous year.


Motorola XT800 will have a Google Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and a TI OMAP3430 550 MHz processor for a faster processing capacity. The smart phone will have a 3.7 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with a display resolution of 854 * 480 pixels. The internal memory consists of 256 MB RAM. It supports both 2G and 3G networks .The 3G range of frequency is CDMA 800/1900 MHz and 2G range of frequency is GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz. It has a five mega pixel camera, with dual-LED flash. The camera can record 720p HD video at 24fps.The phone will have by now common features like Bluetooth and wireless LAN connectivity settings and Global Positioning system .The phone is powered by a 1390 mAh battery. The phone is expected to cost around Rs/- 15000 in Indian market. In the past two years Motorola has launched twenty four Android phones in India and Motorola XT800 GLAM is the first dual sim android phone in it.


One thing worth reminding is that Motorola has already launched the XT800++ in China and Korea which is an enhanced version of this phone. Motorola XT800 ++ is more advanced with Google Android 2.2 operating system and a 1GHz CORTEX-A8 processor for faster than ever processing, the internal memory consists of 512MB RAM. The five mega pixel camera and the 3.7 inch capacitive touch screen is the same as Motorola XT800. The picture resolution is 854 * 480 pixels. It has a black leather back and golden metallic body. So in such a scenario, the intention of releasing the older version of this phone in India is yet to be found out. The most attractive feature is the dual sim support which works in the CDMA and GSM network. The phone will have internet options like GPRS and EDGE which allows easy access to the web, an inevitable feature in new generation phones. It comes as a part of the android 2.2 Froyo operating system.

Motorola Droid 2 announced to launch soon

The Motorola is famous for its mobile phones. MOTOROLA is ready to launch the new and improved Motorola Droid 2. This mobile phone has stylish looks and improved features. This product of Motorola will be available in slider form and has an improved QWERTY keypad. The key pad is very friendly and makes you connect to a number of friends and also chatting and sharing with this pic makes you feel like doing it on pc. The phone supports CDMA network of 800/1900.

The overall dimension of the phone is 4.58X2.38X.54X116.3X60.5X13.7mm and the weight of the phone is 169g. This mobile phone has a camera resolution of 5 mega pixels along with dual LED flash, geotagging and auto focus. The picture quality of this phone is very clear. The maximum talk time available is 9.58 hours and the stand by time is 315 hours. The display screen is TFT touch screen with a resolution of 480X854 pixels.

This phone may be available in India soon with a price tag of 199$ and 599$ for locked and unlocked phones. Motorola Droid 2 is going to give the strong competition to the other phones of its range.

Motorola Milestone 2 launching soon in India

Motorola Milestone 2 is distributed in the USA under the name Motorola Droid 2 and was released in October, 2010 with a price tag of around $380. The Motorola Milestone 2 has no-nonsense Android boosted power with a promising 1GHz processor, better keyboard, trimmed down weight as compared to its predecessor but is faulted for not including a radio and some buyers complain it has a bad battery life. The widgets are also said to be boring and slow down the speed of the mobile operation and getting the Android updates is speculated to be a concern as they are not easily accessible, but in totality, the Milestone 2 is a well made phone.



The specifications of Motorola Milestone 2 include a 2G Network GSM and 3G Networks HSDPA with dimension of 116.3 by 60.5 by 13.7mm. The weight of this mobile is 169g. Some of the features include An Android Operating System v2.2 version with 1GHz processor. The browser supports HTML with pre-installed games and ability to download more games but has No radio and only comes in the color black. GPS is supported and JAVA too on a third party application basis with digital compass, MP3/MP4/WMA/AAC+ player. The Motorola Milestone 2 has social networking applications like Facebook, twitter and MySpace integrated and supports document viewer, adobe flash 10.1, photo viewer and editor with voice memo/dial/commands. Battery used is the standard Li-Po 1400 m Ah with a talk time capacity of up to 6h and stand by up to 350h.
