Motorola is all set to launch their new mobile phones in India very soon. They are planning to launch three new handsets namely Motorola i786, Motorola i806 and Motorola i897. The exact date and price of the handset are not yet announced.
Motorola i897 is also known to as Ferrari Special Edition. It is a clamshell mobile with numeric keypads and stylish appearance. It is having 2.2 inches with resolution 240x320 pixels. It is also having an additional display with size 1.8 inches and resolution 128x160 pixels. It is also having a camera of 2 mega pixels and features like digital zoom. The media player is good one in this handset. It will support multiple media formats. The connectivity is enabled using Bluetooth and USB. The handset also supports GPS. The handset is compatible with GPRS 800/900. The navigation is using D-pad.
Motorola i786 and Motorola i706 are the other handsets that are available along with this i897. These two handsets are not having anything different from this handset apart from those of the i786 and i706. i786 and i706 are GSM 800/900 based mobile phones with iDEN network technology 800 and 900. The i786 is a clamshell handset with screen size 2.2 inches and resolution of 176x220 pixels. The i706 is having a sliding shaped handset with screen size 1.7 inches. Both handsets are having cameras with 1.3 mega pixels lens. The memory can be expanded in both all the handsets. Reports says that the i786 and i897 comes with built in memory storage space of 180MB.
The Motorola i786 is providing a talk time of 3.14 hours with 1130 mAh battery. It is also providing a standby time of around 100 hours. On the other hand, Motorola i706 is providing a talk time of 4.75 hours battery backup for talking and a stand by time of 100 hours. Finally, in the case of Motorola i897, it is providing a battery backup of 3071 hours and the standby time of 100 hours.
