Motorola mobiles is now a great sensation in the smartphone market all across the globe after the launch of its current flagship handset Motorola Moto X. The device has made a strong impact in the market and now is in competition with the leading top end smartphones. One of its toughest competitors is Apple mobile’s flagship handset Apple iPhone 5. Apple mobiles has delivered its best in terms of technical specifications as well as in terms of design in its smartphone. Both the smartphones are fully loaded with features and have a neck to neck competition. The competition will be getting stiffer as new version of iPhone 5 that is iPhone 5S will be launching soon.
Now let us have a look at the design and making of the two phones. Moto X has wider dimensions of 129.3 X 65.3 X 10.4 mm that weighs a bit heavier with 130 gms because of bigger size. It has AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen mobile display of 4.7 inches that has a bright resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. The touchscreen supports multitouch and has a Corning Gorilla Glass protection over it. Apple has made its design with elegance and has restricted its body dimensions to 123.8 X 58.6 X 7.6 mm that weighs just 112 gms. It has a LED backlit LCD Capacitive touchscreen display of 4.0 inch based on the IPS technology. The display screen has a good resolution of 640 X 1136 pixels. It also supports multitouch and has Corning gorilla glass with oleophobic coating for protection over the screen.
In terms of features, Moto X has a powerful dual core 1.7 GHz krait processor with 2 GB RAM support that is better in terms of performance. The device comes in two variants one with 16 GB internal storage capacity and other with 32 GB internal storage capacity. It lacks external storage and has no support to microSD card. It has a primary camera of 10 MP with autofocus and LED flash. For video calling it has secondary camera of 2 MP in front. On the other hand, IPhone 5 has a dual core 1.3 processor with 1 GB RAM support. It is available in three variants with 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB internal storage capacity. It also lacks external memory storage support. It has a 8.0 MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera is of 1.2 MP only but provides crystal clear video conferencing. Surely, in the comparison Moto X has an edge over iPhone5 and must be a must buy smartphone. Motorola Moto X price in the Indian market is around Rs 35, 000 whereas Apple iPhone 5 price is Rs 42, 000 and Motorola Moto X has good connectivity features as we compare it with other smart features phone it's better than other's.
